Who Discovered Huntington's Disease and How?
Huntington's Disease was discovered in 1872 by George Huntington. He had studied several generations of a family showing similar symptoms. He then concluded that they must have been linked and he decided to write a paper about his findings. Sir William Osler then read George's paper and became very interested in his research and this disease. So William then continued this research and he also was spreading awareness about it. Doctors still to this day are researching more about this disease and are continuing to find new information that could possibility lead to a cure.
